COACHED
ADVENTURE CAMP
Our “Coached Adventure Camps” are currently limited to Archery Elk hunts and 1(one) October Rut Rifle hunt. All other rifle hunts will be with ElkBros “Teaching Guides”.
ELK HUNTING EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER!
A CENTURY'S WORTH OF KNOWLEDGE!
This is an opportunity to learn over a combined century’s worth of our elk hunting knowledge and experience. A priceless value that echos well beyond any other type of paid hunt. The knowledge you will receive and take with you will not only shorten your learning curve, but it will also help you eliminate years and years of costly mistakes and put you on the fast track to success.
What would that kind of knowledge be worth? In today’s market, guided hunts run in the tens of thousands of dollars just for the hunt opportunity. You are the passenger following the expert. But what do you actually gain or learn from the experience?
YOU BECOME THE DRIVER, NOT A PASSENGER
Remember, this is not a “Guided” hunt. Your ElkBros Coaches will be empowering you to develop and use skill sets that they show, demonstrate and then have you use. You will be hunting right along with each of us as we share our experience and what we know. Our goal is for you to gain years of knowledge through the entire process. To put your new skill sets to use and take the lead as we mentor and become your partner, watching you grow with every step and encounter!

From there, beginning in early Spring you will utilize our “Success Squad” resources and online webinars to begin your training and preparation in all aspects of the upcoming hunt; 1)Physical Conditioning, 2)Archery Setup, 3)Identifying and overcoming possible Failure Points, 4)Gear 5)Shooting Proficiency, 6)Scouting 7)Finding Elk, Locating, Calling and Set-up. All Webinars are recorded if you are unable to attend live.
We will also be setting up Adventure Camp “WhatsApp” groups for communication, team building, video assignments and coaching tips. There will also be a 2025 remote Meet/Greet – Question & Answer session with all the Adventure Campers as a whole by Ranch property prior to the beginning of the season. Y’all…. 2025 is GOING TO BE EPIC!
PRE-HUNT AT CAMP TRAINING
The moment you get to camp and get settled in, the “Boots on the Ground” training begins! This will be your first opportunity to put all of those months of learning into practice while seeing and feeling what it’s like in your actual hunting environment. Our goal at this point is to translate perception into reality… for you to feel that pressure to perform in simulated situations, working through the kinks, locking in and developing an understanding and confidence for what’s to come.
Your first day and a half will be boots on the ground simulations, drills & skill trainings. The pressure will be on, before you ever hit the woods. You will be calling in front of peers and coaches, performing a shooting proficiency test, learning scenarios, practicing situational shooting, set-ups and hunt movement training. This is when the magic starts!
LIVE-HUNT COACHING METHODS
The hardest part for our Adventure Campers, is taking what they have learned and then understanding where, when and how to use or apply it. Your coaches begin the hunt demonstrating, taking you through the paces in a teaching guide mode… showing you their rhythm, cadences, how they move and explaining the reasons for each. They will challenge you as well to give reasons for their actions, thoughts and strategies. Helping you to understanding the reasons behind behaviors and habits, so you develop a stronger arsenal for success.
From there, they move you into the lead, coaching and helping you understand as much as possible while letting you take the reins. They will take on the role of your hunting partner, more observing and taking guidance from you, while always ready to throw in options, observances and expertise to help in any given situation.

What is the difference between a "Coach" and a "Teaching Guide"?
ELKBROS COACH: Think of our ElkBros Coaches just as you would any sports coach. Their goal is to show, demonstrate and teach you the skill sets, the knowledge, the strategies and put you in the game! They have succeeded every-time you become a better, more confident and capable elk hunter. The more you are able to call the shots and perform the skills to find elk, create encounters and then have a closing opportunity… the more they have done their job. Their success is not based on a kill. Their success is based on your education. An education that you will take away for the rest of your hunting career!
TEACHING GUIDE: These are not your typical point and shoot guides y’all. They are passionate, skilled, experienced hunters and educators. They will not only help you locate and do everything they can to help you harvest an elk, but they take it step further and help you learn their knowledge, tactics and strategies with the goal of making this a NEXT LEVEL EXPERIENCE. They make this YOUR hunt! Going beyond being a guide and becoming your partner, involving you in a team effort!
